Hi hope someone can help me here, have a gt tdi 140 and sometimes when the car is started from cold the revs kind of fluctuate up and down and its like the engine is missfiring, but as soon as it gets to about 65 degrees it stops, also if i have a/c on putting a slight load on engine it makes it better...
It does have the normal lumpy idle also when warm but i can live with that for now, its just the cold starting issues, its been scanned with vcds at my local vw specialist and has brought up no codes, its recently had a new egr valve and a full service oh and a coolant temp sensor
if i touch the accelerator a bit too it smoothes out so was wondering can the idle speed be adjusted to sort this out?? also can anyone in sheffield do this if possible??
