Gentlemen
The satnav/radio on my GTi is a retro-fit, so neither VW or the online code breakers could supply the radio code.
The problem was solved by sending the radio to DND Services Ltd. (www.dndservices.co.uk). It cost £40 plus postage for recoding, with a 48hr turn-around.
