VW Tracker Question

Hi All

First time I've posted for a long time, last time I was querying specs and this time I'm happy to say I have an order in for a GTI (finally...sorta!) So really can't wait until we can all get our hands on them

Quick background... Ordered my Car around 4 weeks ago (5 weeks on Thursday) Literally got my order number yesterday. Bit of a nightmare as I've actually had 2 Salesmen leave on me (surely can't be me as I'm very polite ), however thinking 3rd time lucky as the guy I'm dealing with is quality .

Having read the forums almost everyday it seems that its not uncommon for a dealer to alter another order in their allocation to a customers specification (possibly a default stock order??)

Anyway this is the case for me, my Salesman advised me that the details will not show up correct right now as the system needs to update with my configuration.

I was wondering if anyone has been through this and roughly how long was it until your true specification showed?
Also how much detail do you get?
Currently the car spec I can see is GTI 3 door Manual in Pure White with the upolstery of Titan Black.
Will it also show my options when it eventually updates?

What I really want it to say is GTI 3 door in Red with the cloth seats. Then my options of the Performance Pack, Adaptive Chassis & Winter Pack

Just wondering as it might stop me checking every hour

Mine says
"New Golf GTI Performance 2.0 TSI 230 PS 6-speed DSG 5 Door"
"Pure White"
"Titan Black"

Thats all you'll get.

Ignore the last part about titan black, its the same for all GTIs as its not an option.  It doesn't refer to the upholstery as some have mistakenly thought.

I changed a dealer order to my own spec last monday, I went in on the friday and the details on the screen matched, not too sure if they had changed straight away on the monday though.

It has the a high level description of the car, colour etc and says Performance, the options are then listed below, although the PP is technically an option they said it is covered in the headline description.

The website does not list the options you have added. It only states

3-door or 5-door
DSG or manual
Performance (If you have added the perf pack)
Colour
Titan black (upholstery is the same for all GTI's)

Thank you all for the responses Now I know what to expect and also thank you for clearing up the "Titan Black" else I would've been very confused when that didn't change!

Now I'll go and join the queue waiting for it to go to the build week.... whenever that may be!
