Sunroof problem mk4 Golf

Hi Guys

I bought this car today and the sunroof seems to have dropped slightly is there an easy fix for this? pics below many thanks.

Just a quick one, is the sunroof button in the fully closed position? Not a notch out. Easy to do because they are a dial.

Just had a quick look and its an electric roof so it does look to be closed as the button loks in correct place I only got the car yesterday and it has an electrical gremlin which i need to sort so maybe related not sure yet

I checked the dial as you suggested and its fully closed i pulled the panel off which covers sunroof motor and i can hear the motor working however there is no action at all from the sunroof panel so not sure what it might be yet dont know if its going to need fully stripping out or not
