hi will a mk4 aum work without the clutch switch? been out to look at mine as cruise control isnt working tried to turn it to pull out and the blue plastic bit is all cracked.think previous owner might have bodged it as the wires attached are wrapped in black tape,not sure if it's ever worked to be honesy,only tried it as I put the car up for sale and tried everything before selling .
