got another issue that requires the attention of you hardened vag addicts!!!
as instructed ive got a agu in a mk3 with the following mods
-2.5 fmic
-forge 007p
-k+n filter
-silicone tip
-ko3s
-custom 2.5 decat downpipe
ive just fitted the ko3s and the silicone tip and started it up it ran fine on tick over for about 20 mins then switched it off.
then started it again to move it and it cuts out straight away almost like an immobiliser fault,
but then found out if i disconnect the maf it starts as normal but is really underpowered,
but if i reconnect the maf the engine cuts out.
i know the car needs remap but thought it would still run.
could it be a faulty maf or does it need a vr6 one or.......................
or could it be because of the need for remap?
