Inner CV has sheared all it bolts...why?
« on: 16 March 2013, 17:40 »
Well my inner cv has parted company with the gearbox and has sheared all 6 bolts where it bolts into the box side. We have refitted the cv and used some high tensile bolts and checked the cv and box and all seems fine, it drives normally and dosen't make any noise but I could do with ideas of what to check or if I have a serious issue

does anyone have any ideas why they would shear?

nope I went to the local engineering place with an o.e bolt (they said it matches tensile wise?)
