ok i been reading the sight for ages but ive had problems signing up but all seems ok now
i owned a mk2 before and fell in love
heres my mk1 1600 gti i bought it a few weeks ago, the paint seems to have comeup so it looks different to in the pic now as it hadnt been washed for a while
its curently done 77k so fairly low milage just had a new clutch and it drives sweet apart from the gear linkage
jobs to do are
gear linkage and clutch cable
if i decide to keep it then new wings and a respray will be done but im really tempted to go back to a mk2 gti (waits for the abuse from mk1 owners lol),
if anybody wants a swap on mk2 8v let me know
