Hi, im having a few problems with my mk3 gti. It started a few months back, the car just cut out on my way home, and got worse over a few weeks, to the point where anymore than 10 yards the car would die and wouldnt start for 30 sec or so. I replaced the plugs, the ht leads and the coil. The general running was great apart from cutting out, I had the ecu replaced all done by an auto sparky, and the problem stopped. Last week when I put the wipers on there was a drop in revs every time I turned them on or off, the same is now happening with the lights. When in idol it runs fine until, I put the lights on and this kills the engine, same with the wipers, strange thing is its not every time but the majority of the time it does. Any ideas would be great as im running out of patience with it now. Cheers!
