Mk4 golf oil leak

Ok I bought a mk4 golf 1.6 8v about 4 months ago and it's been fine needs a little tidying up but it has an oil leak. And I can't find out where it is coming from so could do with a list of the places these cars get leaks from and ill start checking them off. I do think its coming from the top end of engine and its running down the back but mite have more than one. Any ideas would be helpful.

check it's not leacking between the cyl head and block,    frount left iirc
