Would you recommend keeping everything standard then?
I would only do reversible mods. I don't think being a standard car matters too much in the early years, but from say 10 years on, standard cars are more sought after.
This is the approach I have always taken, I know fund their mods by selling the oem stuff but never seen the logic as you then see frantic searching to buy stock stuff back
The Pirelli has always been kept at stage 1 and I snapped up a second set of alloys given a set don't come along very often
I've kept all the stock Ed35 stuff including original rear diffuser to give me the option of returning to stock later, and cram just sports a couple of 35 logos and from a distance looks oem which is how I like it
I bought mine with the intention it would be modified and won't even be going Stage 2+
