4 motion decat

Right so my 4mo has a miltek catback.. Not sure size pipeing they are think its 2.75" .. Anyone know where i can get a decat for it there is nothing on the bay also would any golf mk4 decat fit or the 4mo ones different as there is loads 1.8t decat pipes out there

Nav there is only 1 as far s I know I will try and get the link from ukmk4s but will warn you now it's about £280 for the decat dude wouldn't bother  stick a cone on and de silence it mate you will get near the same note

I thinK im better off getting local exhaust place make one up then. Wwas doing more for extra little performance will give. Im defo going get pipercross cone filter too

As long as you can code out the engine warning light I guess otherwise it will be on all the time I just went for a sports cats and made a  difference from normal

Yh im gonna have to get it mapped out. Sports cat cost bloody boooomb tho dont they lol i might just get the middle box removed then

Yeh you will see about maybe 10 to 15bhp with a map at the max like but it improves the ride for sure

or just by a high flow cat and weld it in?

Personally i would get a custom one made up. This is what i did for mine. I went to a local garage and had my decat made for £120 and fully fitted.

They will sort out all the pipe bending and sizes to match up with your standard pipes. You could also get them to delete the pre silencer before the back box to give you a bit more of a growl 

I can not recommend doing it enough. Although we have different cars i had mine on the rollers before and after and with just fitting the de cat i gained 14bhp.

Problem is then mapping out the sensor etc more £££. Im going to get the middle Box removed for now .. Need to fork out for a cv joint and new discs yet dont realy have anyone around where i am that knows about the mk4s sensor problem etc so not sure they would do good job making custom one without fookin up other bits and bobs.

If i do go custom will do some digging few garages and take trip down if bit out to where i am
