Clutch pedal has dropped a notch
« on: 19 January 2013, 16:18 »
Hi

New to forum, Clueless about cars, I have a MK5 Golf 1.4 Gti, The clutch pedal seems to have dropped down a notch and stays there, I have to flick it back up with my foot.
When I start it up in the morning it's difficult to put it into 1st and 2nd gear, but after driving for 15 mins it all seems to settle down. I've looked on-line and wondered if it could be as simple as clutch/brake hydraulic fluid.
Any feedback or advice would be gratefully received
Regards
MK5 Golf Gti 1.4 Supercharged. Lol

might be worth posting in the mk5 forum, could be a hydraulic issue - I am guessing that they are hydraulic clutches on the mk5.
You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.
