I bought my GTI in April 2010 and bought the service plan. It gives me one free brake service, aircon service, wiper balde change, MOT and a few other things in the three years as well as three time and distance services.

So far I have only had the wiper blades changed, will ask for the air con, brake service when it goes in for service in March.

I received an email from VW to complete a survey on my experience at Stoke Volkswagen. I completed the survey and made a point of telling them all the things that went wrong this service and the drivers seat is still sagging. I clicked them to contact me after this survey has been analysed so we will have to see what comes back.

i had a similar thing - if you give a bad review they have to contact you and ask why

once vw uk are on the ccase you usually get it resolved.

i ended up with about £300 worth of goodies for complaining about the 'service' i was provided. thats (not including the new wheel and tyre they gave me too)
