Is this a big job

Thinking of buying these but will it be a big job to refurb these myself concidering I've never done it before they are actually black they are just extremely dusty

Depends on your facilities mate, and what it is actually covered in? maybe require sand/shot blasting and spraying up again.

True it's going to be a case of everything was going to pay a company just to sand blast then I would of sanded down prime and spray but tbh I'm not sure how much primer ect.. I'd need as never done it before

Don't think they are fire damages the bloke brought them to refurb but never got around to it

They really look fire damaged to me, so you need to find out 100% for safeties sake! consider that the wheels may have received thermal shock, if the car they were on was on fire, wheels could have got hot well beyond normal temps, and the Fire Brigade may have doused them with stone cold water... not good!

The other thing that may make them look like that, is that they have been chemically dipped, and not cleaned after, this could again lead to problems with refinishing if acid residue is trapped in the pores...
If this is the case, I would advise media blasting, then powder-coat.

They look useful for 1 thing... wrapping air lines and hose pipe round!

I'd stay well away. Lots of wheels out there, no point risking it for a cheaper set that your unsure of
