another electric window question

I just brought a new rear regulator and motor but have to attach the glass holding bracket, does the wire lift slightly and clip into it or does it just catch the bracket as it rises? Hard to explain  what i meab !!

I think I know what you mean, there is a plastic bit on the cable that pushes snuggly into the bracket that holds the glass.  It should click into place with a little bit of force mate.
