GTI Wheel Alignment
« on: 11 July 2005, 23:31 »
Hi...

My GTI is 4 months old now..always thought it was very sensitive to the camber in the road..it's very rare that on a straight road the steering wheel is actually dead straight. It's usually 1 or 2 degrees to the right. Had the alignment checked and it seemed to be dead on....Mine came on Bridgestones and the later cars seem to have Continentals..not sure if the tyres make a difference..I have found a straight road that has very little camber at all and it's ok on that one...just wondered if anyone else has found their steering to be as sensitive to the road camber.
