best suspension for £350.00 ish

wont be wanting to slam the golf and want a 35-40mm drop with a firmer ride but not a back breaker plus summit that wont fall to bits in 6 months. ive seen the JOM collies and seem really cheap!! but anyone had experience with H+R suspension kits?  any advice or reviews be good?

Mate depends how low you go if you take a huge drop doesnt matter what coils you ahve it will be hard some better than others obviously... But these will be better than Joms and i dare say H+R there is good reviews for many cars for the highsports They are mid range coils!! sadly you get what you pay for mate

im only dropping about 35mm-40mm as im keeping original 16'' alloys and york full of bumps and potholes so i want a comfy ride (ish) still.

Then get lowering springs and shocks mate you will get a near normal ride and drop about 35mm front and rear a set of eibachs lowering springs is about £100

Ill defo be getting a proper uprated shocker and spring kit as no point lowering on 10 year old shocks

is what i bought along with 4x Bilstein shocks, its the best set-up for the mk4 golf apparently
