Wobbly wheel
« on: 19 July 2005, 18:48 »
Anyone got any ideas as to my wobbly steering wheel? it's generally at low speeds (below 40), i'm assuming it's the wheel balance and not the suspension as ive recently had that all done.

Any ideas?

Cheers

Lewis.

Wheel balancing usually creates a wobble that gets worse with speed. It could be tracking or camber adjustment, especially if you've just had your suspension replaced. Check the balancing first, as thats cheapest, then camber, then tracking.

Agreed, I only ever remember wobbles from misbalanced wheels being at higher speeds too. Maybe a stupid question, but have you checked the wheel bolts to make sure they are not loose ?  :undecided:
......now officially dubless.
