Drying out my golf

Hi all i know this has prob been asked loads of times before.

Ive had a leak from the rear sun roof drain's witch i have know sorted but not to sure about drying the car out its been like it for some time and is really damp on the back seats they've got/had spots of mold all over them and the foam for the seats is damp as well.

Any ideas gratefully received

Put a dehumidifier in there for a few days,you will be amazed at how much water it will remove

Ill give that a go one of my mates said put a storage heater in it as well so might try both

if using dehumidifiers you must either use a safety heater or park your car in a garage with as little exposure to the elements over night, you want to keep the interior as warm as possible. preferably use dehumidifiers during the summer where the heat will vapourise the water in the car

get some of these as well. There well worth the money.

went up me mothers yesterday and nicked her dehumidifier from the house hoping that with sort it out pretty fast tbh lol

If the sound deadening below the carpet is wet IMHO you'll need to remove it to get it dry. I had a problem like this in my van and the only fix was to remove all and dry it out in the house.
