Hey mate, welcome to the forum! As far as I know the mk5 uses a pretty much generic harness for whatever options you had. I already had an aux lead fitted on mine, so I cant really help there. But I did retro fit cruise control, all that took was buying a stalk, fitting it then enabling it via some vagcom trickery. Aux cable could possibly be along the same lines.
