Cold start

Brrrr! its cold this morning. And as usual the car is really struggling to start.
It's the dreaded 2.0 8v!!!!! *(no nasty comments pls, cos he's not getting scrapped for a tubby)*
Is there a cold start sensor or anything i can replace? if anyone can help a lady out? :tongue:

hi have experienced the same thing since things have got chilly.my choke doesnt seem to be kicking in so when i turn the key i give the accelerator peddle a blip and seems to kick it in.doug

could be a temperature sensor issue, but get your battery checked first the cold weather can finish off a weak battery!

IACV, IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE .......Maybe ?
