Xbox 360 - whisper fans
« on: 17 November 2012, 14:47 »
Anyone fitted the above? Or found another alternative?

Really getting annoyed with the noise of 360 lately but I'm not ready to give in and get a new just yet as it still does the job...

clean it out! it will be full of fluff.

I picked up a noisey xbox for free, fans came on full whack the moment you switched it on, and were very noisy. I opened it up and hoovered the fluff out of the fans and heatsinks, job done! Its not as quiet as a new one but 75% less noisy then it was.

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Cheers guys. Well as luck would have it, just picked up a slim for £60 with no controller or HDD

will be using my one of my current controllers on it and the old HDD once the caddy arrives for it. Not bad for £64 total outlay :afro:
