I smell petrol

when drivin home from work past week or so i been able to smell petrol
i just had a look underneath no signs of leaks on floor or from pump
but on the underside of the car i see a damp patch not very big its
on drivers side where 2 lines run from back down to the front and i touched it n it
smelt of petrol but them lines dont seem to be leakin n they dont touch the bit
where its damp

any1 help?

Hi Rob
Change the two hose clips on the fuel pipes where they fit onto the fuel rail, very common.

yeah and rob do it in the dark and use a cigarette lighter to see what your doing  :grin:

when i change these clips will petrol piss all over or not

Just a small amount will leak from the pressure side, prob about £1.50's worth  :grin:.
