Wanting to get started on the MK3 now I have a garage, thinking about a smoothish engine bay look.
What sort of legalities and safety concerns will be on welding plates in for the smooth look?
Such as:
Don't want it naked just wanting the legs smooth.
Just wondering if in a crash ect. it could ever cause an issue? Do the DVLA need to know and what sort of things could it effect in a MK3 Golf when it comes to crumpling?
