Off to a wedding next Sunday in Bishops stortford. Was thinking of spending a few days visiting some worthwhile places around the places mentioned above.

Can you guys recommend some places worth visiting?

we're both into wildlife, nature reserves and zoo's. We also like very old architecture. Also willing to visit museums, and any other places you recommend.

What's definitely on the list is a trip to Blakeney harbour for a trip to see the seals, and suffolk owl sanctuary. After that it's open at the moment. maybe norwich, cambridge or peterborough?

any input is appreciated!

Hi there, I've a boat up on the broads so I know the waterways fairly well! If you're passing by woodfordes brewery is worth a stop, great ale and lovely food! Just down the road is ranworth broad, which has a small but quite nice little nature reserve. My favourite reserve in the area tho is at Howe Hill, its just next to an old manor house and you can take an electric boat ride around the reserve.

As for zoos, I visited one a few years back somewhere near yarmouth and wasn't too impressed by it tbh, enclosures too small and animals not very well cared for.

Of course the highlight of norfolk is to be found in wroxham, Roys is the biggest village store in the world (or something like that anyway!).

Lovely part of the world anyway, I fell in love with the broads at a very young age and keep going back!

Oh yeh if youre passing by great yarmouth they have a fantastic crazy golf course
