Another non start- mk2 carb
« on: 24 October 2012, 19:37 »
I tried to start my car yesterday, and i couldn't, thinking it was flooded i left it overnight.
I then tried to start again today, no result. took out plugs gave them a clean, as with the rotor as dizzy cap. still no start
So i called RAC, they basically did the same, except they checked it was sparking(it is strong), and in the right order (which it was), and it was getting fuel right upto the carb.
He also made sure it wasnt flooded.
It was getting fuel to the cylinder tho, and the plugs smelt of fuel.
He was stumped so he left.
It was last started 4 days ago and it started perfectly, since then all i have done is remove the negative lead to check current drain (and removed fuses one by one, and made sure they are in after)

It is a 1.6 webber carb (EZ)

Any Ideas?

Thanks
