Buying a Golf GTI
« on: 27 September 2012, 14:46 »
I am thinking of buying a Golf GTI or maybe a GTD or............a GTI Edition 35 2.0 DSG.  Max budget around £25K so will be used.  Any advice, guidance would be appreciated.  Have decided enough is enough re my BMW 330D M Sport Coupe - Auto 2007 plate.  Ok its a great drive but, there are issues. Cost of servicing, tyres etc.  But will I be disappointed with a Golf after the Beemer?

Help please

Go for it you will never look back....My 35 is the best motor I've ever had...but hard on the jungle juice, but what the hell.  My brother in law has the GTD and he loves it...either way you can't go wrong....

Welcome, if your worried about fuel costs then go with the GTD and stick a map on it and your be looking at GTI pace but without the fuel cost...

Just my 2p worth
