hi sam

Im having a similar problem with my golf. 05 plate 1.9 tdi so would be interested in trying to get this sorted. Have you had anyone look at it yet? My car is brilliant cold starting but after half hour driving takes maybe 3-5 seconds to fire up when re-starting (e.g at the fuel station) If you have anyone suss it out please let me know. Thanks

some mk4s and early mk5s with 1.9tdi lumps , suffred with hot start issues , something to do with factory mapping and parts wearing over time.
i dont no if their is a software update available from vw to cure this issue, give them a bell its worth a shot.
