2.0 8v
« on: 26 September 2012, 20:10 »
I've just put a 2.0 8v in my mk2 and the 4 branch (off a 1.8 ) is banging against the transmission tunnel. What can I do to fix it? Bang t'f**k out of the tunnel? Raise the engine? I'm not keen to remove the 4 branch as it's a bit of a pig but am open to suggestions. Would it be possible to raise the front engine mount and tilt the engine back a little further?

I bought the lump off someone else so it was all done unfortunately :( The cap is off a PB but the shaft I have no idea about. I've been reading about spacer's for the exhaust and TSR sell them apparently but there is nowt on their site.

Oh and I've got a cam and a lightened flywheel apparently and it goes well.
