Do I really have to tell my insurance company?
« on: 10 September 2012, 20:23 »
Someone mentioned the other day that having the all red TDI badge on the back of my GT TDI 110 could annoy the insurance company.

Aesthetically I think it looks better though on reading up it actually denotes the power level for the GT TDI 150 making it more desirable to thieves.

Seriously?

No.

Badges are a random combination that are put on by dealer.  The red I or red DI means naff all.

Well there you go, the red DI could mean 3 different models of mk4 golf.

Its all absolute bollocks IMHO.

Its all absolute nuts IMHO.

Like I said, mine is all red TDI so it only seems to denote 150bhp models.

And I agree, it's crazy. I laughed when I heard but later on it got me thinking.
