Would you be willing to wait until December ? I will then be looking to sell my Tornado red 16v - March 1992. I am only the second owner from new (It was less than 6 months old when I bought it from a main dealer in August 1992- it was ex-VW head office and one of the last ones made).

It is standard in all respects. It has 167,000 miles on it with a full service history up to date. I will get it mot'd in December and it will be taxed until July 2004. Of course it has few stone chips and the roof could do with a T-cut but all in all it is in very good condition. Kind regards, yt.

Tricky one because as you can see I'm not yet quite ready to sell - I'm hoping maybe to buy a new Mk4 TDI if VW drop the price of this range during the 'run out' phase of this model so time will tell. The car is in reasonable nick considering the mileage although as I think I put in my original entry there are a few stone chips and inevitable rust spots - however I would like to think that the fact that it has a full service history and only two owners from new (I've had it since 11000 miles) would balance that out? I suppose I would have to be looking in the range of ?1k-2k. I don't want to get anyone too 'excited' about the prospect of buying it since as I say it all depends on me getting a fabulous deal on a new one. Kind regards, yt.
