BHP, What do we reckon?

My 87 valver was rolling roaded by the previous owner(found the receipts) and the readout states 135.4 bhp/116.6 lb ft at the wheels, what do we reckon this will be at the engine? I haven't the foggiest....

Unless its been upped in engine capacity then the readout is wrong, a standard valver is 139bhp at the fly and about 112 at the wheels. As stated in the book from factory.

From the readout i got on my white valver, (god bless it) it was 139.5bhp / 114lb/ft and that was at the fly NOT the wheels.

Soz forgot to mention this has been modded. Cams, filter, exhaust etc.....

in that case, i would put about 160-165 at the fly then.

i've been getting quotes between 160-180 bhp. To my knowledge it's had polished and ported head, kent cams, k&N filter, Vernier Induction Kit, Full Magnex system.

But it still doesn't feel as though it's running right. When foot to the floor (on motorway) it doesn't seem to pull as good as when I have my foot 3/4 of the way down.....any clues? Too much fuel? Need rolling roaded again? (been years since last one I reckon) :undecided:
