Went last week on a company car in action test day. For those who don't know what this is, you get invited through your company free of charge to drive all the vehicles there supplied by all the big companies.
I drove the mk5 with the DSG gearbox around the two mile banked oval and the alpine hill course and must say it is the absolute nuts. Always said that my next car would be the R32 but it could be one of these when they come down in price a bit.
Also went out in a mk5 race car (Chilton's) driven by a pro driver around the race track there and pi55ed my pants.
If you can get to this next year i highly recommend it (this year was my 2nd year)
