Make a bracket that positions the number plate in front of the centre grille and 10mm or so in front on the bumper, makes the number plate look like its floating  in front of the car.

we use some really good double side tape at work for joining reels of poythene ,i used it to put plate back on the front of the other halfs car and hasnt come off yet ,if you get stuck could always sling some in the post for you mate

This, also heat it up with a hair dryer first for added stickyness!  :cool:

Can you not do the old super magnet trick with the number plate? means at shows it can be removed and leave no marks...saw it over on the mk5gti.co.uk site.  Not sure it can be done with the mk3 but woulda thought so. magnet has to be strong enough to "pull" through the plastic of the bumper

That's my plan. Got some off eBay. Haven't had chance to try it yet though. They feel bloody strong lol. Will keep updated.

Also on look out for new rear bumper, mine has all stews fractures on it so easier to get new one then spray it :D
