can i steam clean the top of my engine?

If you removed it from the rest of the engine you could, just take the rocker off and do that with the steam cleaner

sxc, did not think of that, cheers!

ive preasure washed nearly every car ive had with no trouble at all, if your sensable its not a problem i cover electrical parts and air intake parts and job is a good one you cant beat how it leaves engine, i found wheel acid works really well on very hard to remove oil and grease my gearbox area was a right state with gunk round it im suprised i could change gear the amount of crud that was there, mine looked 100 times better after and i hate dirty engines to work on.
