Converting to hydro clutch (16v conversion)

why not use the non hydraulic clutch set up (ala seat ibiza)

I have looked into and have all the part numbers.

*Clutch cable - 6K2 721 335F (Seat) - �31
*Plastic retainer for clutch cable end (6) - 6K2 721 147 (Seat) - �1.70
*Cable holder (7) - 6K2 721 397B (Seat) - �10.50
*Mount for cable gearbox end (9) - 357 199 353A (VW) - �18
*Nuts and bolts for (9):
2 bolts M10 x 70 N0195324 (Seat)
2 nuts M10 N01101011 (Seat)
*Clutch actuation unit (10) - 02A 141 708B (VW) - �31
*Rubber boot for unit (13) - 02A 141 728 - �4.50
*Bolts to attach (10) to gearbox are same as used for hydraulic slave cylinder 

(incase of future searching)

Went into the dealers and some of the parts are discontinued, still gotta see if I can get them from seat tho

Sounds good bud, il give you a pm when I get round to doing it, else il forget most of it lol.

its fairly straight forward, it uses the fluid from the brakes there should be a nobby bit of plastic on the reservoir to connect the master cylinder to, just cut this and put a bit of pipe on it, then run it to the cylinder

if you have a later model like you say there will be a plate on the bulkhead behind the clutch pedal that if I remember right is bolted on. just unbolt it and stick the master cylinder in there. I cant remember 100% how it fits onto the pedal I think it just clicks into the back of it, but I know it was easy enough when I did mine that I took no pics and didn't document it what so ever as I thought it was too easy 

thats pretty much it from what I can remember car side everything else is on the gearbox, just run the pipework from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder on the gearbox. You will need a hydraulic brake bleeding kit to bleed the fluid through the system as theres no way of pumping it through like the brakes
