bumper inserts
« on: 02 July 2012, 12:32 »
Anyone know where I can get front bumper inserts from, Intercooler is going on soon and I wanted to put something in the main front one that'll stop it getting smashed with stones, but still allow it to get the air flow.
Same for the side ones (dont want to leave them out as it looks  )

Cheers

ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Its just the standard bumper, but with having the intercooler put in I want a mesh type middle insert to stop the stones but not the airflow.
I have standard ones already but THS recommend leaving the middle one out for airflow, thats fine until a big stone hits it

just cut the back off the middle one so it fits in even use some sickerflex or tigerseal on the back of it so it stays in place i know the type of mesh your thinking of but cant seem to find it on ebay with out it having to come from usa

I just trimmed mine right down, fit fine and I doubt very much it's affecting airflow that much
