ko3 hybrid?

hi new on here so bare with me a little.
i have recently bought a golf with agu engine and have a receipt for the ko3 turbo being made hybrid, supposedly same as s3 but unsure wether this was possible?
The car has all forge dumpvalve, TIP, smic, pipeing and a bmc cda air intake also has miltek cat back r32 style exhaust im in the prosses of getting decat and downpipe but was wondering if i need to upgrade injectors it has a 4 bar fuel regulator also do i need to change the maf.
 many thanks to any help you can give me Dale

p.s should be getting a custom remap from r-tech so wanted to get everything before i get this done

i may be wrong but i thought ko3 hybrid would more or less turn it into a ko3s which is nothing like that fitted to an s3 as they have ko4


 i drive a golf thats why im skint!!!!


losing interest in the golf and now not so skint !!!!!

K03 hybrid can be what ever you want it to be! Including a k04 based version. Saab red injectors 346cc are needed.

yes iv been doing a bit of looking into now mate it was summat i read a long time ago saying it would only become a ko3s but was under the impression as you say that could be whatever you want it to be il have to go get my old ko3 now  :evil:  :grin:

Yeah when I first looked into getting a hybrid from cr turbos they said they could used either the k03 or k03s made no difference and put the RS4 internals in it.

CR turbos will do and there are a few others. Just get you standard manifold ported most of the high flow ones seem to crack from what I read.

ok cheers will look into it. do you have any idea what sort of bhp figures i could expect. the turbo was rebuilt by the turbo centre uk in west yorkshire cost 500 is that about right?
