I'd say so.  They quote that THEY will support you so it implies you will be dealing with them rather than Ross Tech themselves

Give your mate a nudge too

Theres a reason a proper cable is £260 :(

Bloody worthwhile investment tho if you have the spare cash!

Yeah iv been tempted to buy the cable and software but its alot of money lol

Haha I have tried to keep on and given up on him  :undecided:

He keeps asking if his turbo is on 140k would it be dead after a remap and I dont know the answer to that lol it could go at anytime I guess, hes being a pussy because he doesnt want to spend out on a new turbo, clutch and flywheel

If you were on Audi Sport I'd say drop Nigel (NHN) a line as I think he can source them cheaper than £280.....

That's the million dollar question really!  Full checks are carried out prior to remapping but even then you can't guarantee how long it will last.

I've remapped a few cars past 120K and they are still going now; think the highest mileage car I've done was a PD100 on 137K

Equally an Octavia vRS with just 45K cooked its clutch on the post-map test drive  :lipsrsealed:    Never seen a rev counter move so fast
