Best Standard Brake Options

I'm looking at the standard discs/pads thinking soon, you'll need doing.

I don't want a big brake setup, what are the best options for the ED30 any pad/disc brands that people have had good/bad experience with?
MK5 ED30, BCS Powervalve, 19" Dare Wheels, KW V2 coilovers and Carbon Interior parts

Im currently running at stage 1 and the standard GTI brakes have been great, no issues or felt I needed more. People usually tend to go for either standard brakes or bigger R32/S3/Cupra R brakes or if your names Hurdy then insane massive brakes that are bigger than my wheels.

If your not running crazy power id personally save the money, get standard brakes, they are pretty decent. If you still want to upgrade them then the easiest and best ones would be the R32/S3/Cupra R setup.

Fit some Ferrodo DS2500 pads and you will be fine for fast roads and the occasional track day.

Hi dude.

If you want some dirt cheap discs and pads with less 300 miles on them, you can have the ones I've ripped off my mk5 Gti. They've been sat at the garage since I had my car modified. I can chuck them a tenner and get them to courier to you directly?

Personally I upgraded to EBC, vented, dimpled and grooved discs on the front and rear. Along with Yellowstuff racing pads, Goodridge stainless brake hoses and Dot 5.1. The brake balance is incredible and they make the Earth slow down very quickly.

Take care
