Managed to cure this without the need for vagcom. Its was just the distributor was needing removed and refitted as noticed the mark on it did not line up with the rotor arm when at tdc. Runs superb now and throwing no codes. Also got my abs sorted with just replacing the sensor. thanks for all your info though!!
