VR6 decat on 8v?

Im pretty sure the VR6 exhaust is a bigger bore to the 8v.

8v - 50mm
16v & VR6 - 55mm

Yes. No rhe exhaust is a diferant size but as already said the 8v has a reducer that comes off the cat so the cat exit pipe is 55mm. If you remove the reducer sleave on and 8v you can fit a vr6 exhaust strait onto it. Like I did on my black golf.
