a mate of mine has used a fiat uno (yuk) front single wiper. If u want a VAG single wiper just nick one of a mk2 seat ibiza from the scrappies or a random car Both bolt off - bolt on jobs

off to the salvage yard tomorrow seein as im signed off work sick and i've got two weeks to myself! got to go get a few bits - rear wiper (mines naff!) might pinch a front wiper lol!

might get couple of washer jets - like the cool 4 washer jet thing!   i'll try and attempt it myself, then i'll bodge it and my dad or my brother will have to fix it! ha ha

right now im looking into modding a standard wiper setup. you only need to lengthen a rod on the mechanism.

if you have an early mk2 like moi you can remove the passenger's side wiper and it looks single wiper, but only clears the drivers side
