Hi and welcome to 'the way of the Mk3'.
Having a list of stuff to do to make it work right. Or look better. Regularly being let down by it as age takes it's toll on moving parts. Learning how not to snap a bolt that is rusted in when taking it out. Enduring endless snipes from Mk2 owners about weight and handling (all false BTW).
Cleaning and waxing regularly - by hand!

Looking at yourself reflected in shop windows after decades of owning anonymous cars that just get you from A to B. Caring about the oil in it when the last one just got topped up to keep up with what leaked out the bottom. Wanting good tyres again instead of the cheapest they do because - well, the car is worth it and it will handle better too.
And chucking it down a B road and getting better connected with the drive than any car you have had for 15 years.
Yep - 'the way of the Mk3'. And I like it. Lots!

Good luck with yours.
