There was a really helpful chap who popped up in the VW chat section - have a search there's lots of info there.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

do them for free mikey, yep means you gotta drive stuff, but they will always come in handy in life eventually

I think i will do them. Best to have more to fall back on with the current economic state of the country and the current reviews!

I can join the Institute of Advanced Motorists without doing anything thanks to work. Knocks down the insurance a bit.

i love being old . . . . . . .

Its a nightmare to understand...

It seems from what i have read that a C1 course doesn't exist now so you have to go straight to C which is over 7500kgs or the C+E to have articulated.

The reason i ask is to apply for the ambulance service you must have a C1 licence. This is due to the weight of an ambulance. Its not me thats applying by the way!

You need to do a cat C course, first you need to get a physical from the doctor saying you are fit to drive, you then send off for a provisional, then take a theory test and hazard perception (which you need higher marks to pass than for a car) you'll then have to take a 5 day course then your practical test, also at some point you'll have to do a drivers CPC, all in it will cost around £1200 depending where you go and it will take about 3 months to go through the process.

Current cars 1995 Golf gti colour concept 2.0 8v 156,000 miles. bmw 316 1.9 129,000. yeah, life's good!
