Ideally you want another rotten but complete 'rocco to transfer all the parts over from. That's a serious undertaking to get that back on the road without at least a few choice donor components.

I have spied a fairly local mk1 scirocco that buzzes around with a tatty shell which I am going to try to buy. This would be ideal!

Be nice if the seller stated what year it was needs acid dipping, and probably all the welding work done again.
