^^^ that was what demon tweaks said about there being a delay. i think we might be sh!t out of luck. when i was up at inters i was gonna ask tsr then and there but the only guy talking any sense was clearly not gonna start discussing group buy discounts with me then and there.

keep on at them though. i looked at neuspeed ones as an alternative but their front one is the same price as a whole eibach kit so i wont be going there!!!

OK guys and gals got reply from tsr today
we can get 5% off retail price in other words 229 - 5% = 217.55
the thing is in their website states it is £209 not sure if this it inc VAT
pretty disappointing really

again being told they are not available till Jully

Yeah, their catalogue says £209 aswell, and there is a big header saying that all their prices include VAT.

If they say on the phone that they are £229 plus the vat, then they become liable for prosecution under the trading standards act.

Call me dumb but i dont know what the difference is with these ARB's. Why are they better than standard? Also how many are on a mk2. Ive seen the front lower and the rear but no upper one. What do they do thats so great?

These ARBs are thicker than standard ones , therefore when your chucking your car in to a corner especially at higher speeds the body will roll a lot less .
I managed to get a G60* one from work for nowt  ( as some t!t in the stores ordered it wrongly and it ended up being thrown out when they were doing a stock cleansing / clearing session ) It made one hell of a difference

Mk2s Gtis have one on the front and a stiffener rod that's welded to the inner part of the forward facing center 'v' section of the rear arm/axle

( * the G60 front ARB is the same diameter as the eibach front )

You don't, as the Eibach bar is strapped to the under side of the 'V' section and locates ( with longer bolts ) on to the strut lower mounting points

One thing I woiuld add is that if you are fitting one to the rear of a Golf/Vento Mk3 you need to re route the ABS cable on the N/S as it will foul on the ARB

Just a thought but, a couple of years back i got a metal fabrication yard to just bend up some thicker steel for my Mk2 and then got it powder coated. I gave them my old arb and they just followed the original pattern. As i remember it was eighty quid all done! Maybe times have moved on, but sometimes these things aren't as complex as the modders would have you believe. Anyway, just a suggestion, and I await crucifixion herewith for suggesting a shortcut, rather than parting with an extra hundred quid cos Eibach are better at bending steel than anyone else!

Must admit i thought about getting someone to do that also. Seems allot of money for a bit of metal thats just abit thicker!
