New on here and recently got another vw, had a mk1 cab few years ago, then sold it to get a 4x4 lol...had a few cars between, and then a old 1999 escort td estate for a while, then last week got offered a mk2 golf gti for £500 so sold the escort for that and bought the mk2, got into massive trouble with the missus as the body kit was missing, it was faded real bad, parcel wrap all over the windscreen and sun roof due to a water leak, the rear panel below the boot lid needs spraying as its still black and was welded on and left,apart from that she is solid underneath which is good, then gave her some tlc, being a mechanic by trade and my job is a valet i spent all my lunch times on the old girl and now the missus loves it, few more bits to do tho like loose the bucket seats for standards as its not so good for getting the kiddie in the back lol...
anyway will put up a few piccys of before and after when i get a chance....
