so tonight i deided to strip the old exhaust out to put the milltec in and all was going well centre pipe out back box out then got to the cat and realised my down pipe has a slit in it so will haft to get a new one  :sad: realy gutted as wanted to know what the milltec  sounded like.

so haft to find the best place to get a down pipe now volks bits do one which i have seen on gay bay thats is as far as i have got so far any ideas??

am thinking i will change manifold while at it as i have a spare which i started porting ages ago and never finished, anyone changed one is it a right night mare??

Can't help much with your problem but just wanted to say I feel for you. Getting a shagged starter motor off mine was bad enough earlier and I had a stud let go while I was undoing it.

So we are both fecked from rust. Hoping to get a replacement for mine tomorrow and get mobile again.

Good luck with yours - I hope you get sorted as soon as...

its a fcuker aint it mate. my middle box and backbox have collapsed inside and its blowing like fcuk. but i still drive mine as i have no choice and i cant even afford a new one so sod it  :grin:

I dont know whats going on with my zaust!! Cant seem to locate a blow, but it sounds like its blowing and under load it sounds like an old air cooled!!!!!!!!! Had it on the ramps and cant seem to find anything, but looks like the internals of the Cat are in the middle box!!!

well not so bad after all it was the heat sheild after a better look today so the old cat is out
